Logging Capital Adjustments (Deposits, Withdrawals, etc.)

Last updated: September 9, 2025

Tracking More Than Just Trades

You can add a new capital adjustment from two convenient locations:

  • From the Journal Page: Click the "+ Add Adjustment" button in the main action bar. The adjustment will be for the account you are currently viewing.
  • From the Dashboard: Use the sticky toolbar (located on the left on desktop, and at the bottom on mobile) and click the "Add Adjustment" icon (). You will then be prompted to select which account the adjustment is for.
Types of Adjustments

You can log four types of capital adjustments:

  • Deposit: Adding funds to your account.
  • Withdrawal: Removing funds from your account.
  • Fee: Logging a broker fee, commission, or other cost that isn't tied to a specific trade's P/L.
  • Manual Correction: A positive or negative adjustment to correct the account balance for any other reason.
💡 Logging these adjustments ensures your "Balance" and "Account Growth (%)" metrics are always accurate. Your "Performance Return (%)" and "Trading P/L" will not be affected by these entries.
