Understanding Review & Evaluation Accounts

Last updated: September 8, 2025

What are Review & Evaluation Accounts?
Trade Licks allows you to create accounts for purposes other than live trading, such as Evaluation/Prop Firm challenges, analyzing blown accounts (Review), or Backtesting strategies. The key feature of these accounts is that their stats do not affect your main dashboard analytics (like total P/L, win rate, etc.). This keeps your live performance metrics clean.
Evaluation Account Metrics

When you set an account type to 'Evaluation', you can track specific prop firm parameters:

  • Profit Target: The progress bar shows how close your current balance is to the required profit target.
  • Max Drawdown Used: This tracks how much of your maximum allowed drawdown you have used.
  • Time Remaining: If you set an end date, this will count down the remaining days for the challenge.
Viewing Performance on the Dashboard

While the main dashboard cards always show your combined live performance, you can view the weekly performance of your non-live accounts in the calendar widget. On the "This Week's Performance" card, click the settings cog icon and select "Review Accounts" from the dropdown. The calendar will then display P/L data exclusively from your Evaluation, Review, and Backtest accounts for that week. You can switch back at any time by selecting "Live Accounts" or "Show All".

💡 Using these special account types is perfect for practicing or analyzing performance without skewing the data from your primary funded accounts.
