Understanding Your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Last updated: September 9, 2025

The Four Pillars of Performance
The main cards at the top of the Advanced Analytics page show four crucial KPIs for the trades matching your current filters.
  • Net Performance (P/L): This is the total profit or loss from all closed trades in your selection. The sub-metric, "Return on Capital," shows your P/L as a percentage of your initial balance plus any deposits made.
  • Win Rate: The percentage of your trades that were profitable. This is calculated as (Winning Trades / (Winning Trades + Losing Trades)) * 100.
  • Profit Factor: A ratio that shows how many dollars you make for every dollar you lose. A value above 1.0 indicates profitability. (See our Advanced Metrics article for a full explanation).
  • Max Drawdown: The largest drop in your account's equity from a peak to a subsequent low. This is a key indicator of risk. (See our Understanding Max Drawdown article for more details).
