Using Test Mode to Simulate Your Plan

Last updated: September 10, 2025

What is Test Mode?
Test Mode is a powerful "what-if" simulator. It allows you to project how your plan would unfold based on a sequence of hypothetical wins and losses. Changes made in Test Mode are temporary and will NOT be saved to your journal.
How to Use Test Mode
  1. Switch the toggle at the top of the plan from "Live" to "Test". A notification will confirm you are in simulation mode.
  2. Click the "Win" or "Loss" checkbox for any upcoming day.
  3. Observe how the plan instantly recalculates the start balance, targets, and lot sizes for all future days based on your hypothetical outcome.
  4. Switch back to "Live Mode" to discard the simulation and return to your real data.
Why Use Test Mode?
Test Mode is perfect for visualizing the long-term impact of your trading decisions. You can see how a winning or losing streak affects your compounding goals, helping you to stay motivated and mentally prepared for any scenario.
💡 Test Mode can only be activated for plans that are synced to an account, as it requires a real starting balance to begin its projections.
